Unbalanced hen!

Post by Sisterhood » 17 Jan 2016, 14:18

Hello all,
any advice / suggestions gratefully received:

We have an unbalanced hen!
Just since this morning she's not eating much, but she's quite alert and vocal, but unsteady on her feet and seems to be having trouble balancing... Any ideas?

We've taken her into the house and given nutridrops which perked her up a bit, but she's still wobbly...

Thanks
Sophie

Try researching mareks. It's not good news I'm afraid. :(

Ooh I hope not - I had read that Marek's seems more aggressive than this - and that they carry on eating normally.

I think I'll phone the vet in the morning...

She's all better now! Didn't phone the vet in the end as she's perked right up again.

Phew
