Egg turning during incubation

Postby airyfairy » 18 Aug 2016, 23:58

Hi, I have a Brinsea advance incubator and this will be my first time at incubating eggs. The default for egg turning is every 45 mins. You can set it up to 90 mins. Is 45 mins too often? I've read loads of posts and all seem to refer to manual turning at least 3 times a day. This will turn the eggs loads compared to this. Can you over turn the eggs? Your advice would be much appreciated.

I don't think it matters too much - though personally I would set it to 90 minutes. Most important is to stop the turning at day 18.
