Yesterday I removed the compound from the 9 week old S Sussex bantams. Whilst they kept to their own group throughout the day, the older ones simply ignored them until 'bedtime' when one of the cocks was most anxious that they were't going in to their coop early enough. Poultry herding is easier with runner ducks & a trained dog. I just hope they've learned before the next wet spell.
Guinea fowl & a lot of surplus poultry equipment.
