Still not a single hen in lay, and I've got about 25 of them! Last year, they started mid January and went through to August, when they started moulting. But they are later this year for some odd reason. Debcat, milkmaid are you finding the same?

I went for about 3 months without a single egg :evil:
now they've finally started again I don't know what to do with them all :grin:
had 7 today but 21 2 days ago
a couple of the turkeys and ducks have started again the last couple of days
we're all sane it's the rest of the world thats mad!

Just ran out to check nest boxes in hopefulness - not a single egg and no one's combs are bright red either. :x

I suspect the ducks are laying again as I saw a crow fly away with one....

3-4 egs a day. I have 5 layers, but one is, I think, 'retired'. She hasnt laid for months and I doubt she ever will now, but dont tell DH that, or he'll want to eat her.!
