Prizes

Post by jaydee67 » 06 Aug 2011, 17:44

We entered some things into the local agricultural show's craft section and have won some prizes!!!

My Loving Hands crib got a first (but it was the only willow basket ;-) )

This blanket which has been a WIP for too long came 3rd in the crocheted wool category (Mum came first with her lilac LH matinee jacket, the multi-coloured cardi is her's too)

This basket made from recycled earth wire and wooden beads from an old hanging planter came first in 'recycled materials' and won the trophy for best item entered by an adult in the craft section.

My daughter got a second for her crocheted turtle, and a first with her gateau and second with her fatless sponge in the very competitive baking section.

My niece won second prize for her recycled hobby horse and third for her hama beads. The school rug came first in the recycled materials section (see it behind the hobby horse)
