wheat intolerance

I have just been told not to eat wheat as I appear to be wheat intolerant, I certainly feel better since I stopped eating it
any recipies for wheat free things would be great
we're all sane it's the rest of the world thats mad!

I'm assuming this is the same as gluton intolerance? My dad was diagnosed with this a few years ago.

The main thin I do for him is a gluton free chocolate cake. I just basically use gluton free SR flour and make it the same as I do a normal one - although I do add a bit of milk. 8oz flour, 8oz marg, 8oz sugar, cocoa powder to taste, 4 eggs and a splash of milk. Whisk altogether, pour into tin and bake for about 30 mins at 170 degrees.

My mum makes all his bread in a breadmaker and most of his biscuits. I am sure he would struggle if he was on his own!

My mum did get a lot of help from websites as well, and sent off for a few recipe and fact sheets.
