Good all round chicken keeping book

Have no. Chicken keeping books at all at the moment - what would you consider the best book to have? Would like it to cover all aspects of maintenance along with housing, free range, breeding and rearing chicks etc. Want to own one really good book that covers everything.

The usual answer seem to be 'any book by Katie Thear' but my own recommendation would be Domestic and Ornamental Fowl by Valerie Porter. Now out of print, but 2nd hand copies are not too difficult to come by (which is how I got mine).
Guinea fowl & a lot of surplus poultry equipment.

The Mini-encyclopedia of Chickens by Frances Bassom is a very good starting point.

Though I did start with "Starting with Bantams" and "Starting with Chickens" by Katie Thear and they were okay then but I reckon really quite dated nowadays.
