PK's Birthday soon!

Postby CP » 29 Mar 2017, 03:13

In a few weeks time, The Poultry Keeper will be 12 years old!

It started as just a temporary thing on 13th April 2005. It quickly grew in size & became a permanent much-loved place for chicken folk to hang out.
Sadly in recent years it has declined in popularity & at the moment is barely functioning as a forum (fora?) with just a few members posting from time to time. Although new members still join occasionally, it is a shadow of its former self. :(

I don't know what the future holds for PK but I'd love to see it thriving again in some way, even if it never again recreates the dizzy heights of those early years.

I know there's Facebook & Twitter now, that seem to be the go-to places but you can't refer back to the queries like you can on these forums. Once the subject is a few days old, it's pretty much lost amongst the other stuff on there whereas important information & help on here is always accessible.

Help PK to thrive once again - it needs members to post more content & more often. ;)
