Hi thanks for getting back to me, have emailed Horstead Hens, according to there website they only have bantams though? I will have to wait for there reply to see what they have.

Hi i have been given a fully working polyhatch so that i can use it as a hatcher. I am confused at which temp i should set the incubator at as i am used to a air circulating rcom. I am aware that the thermometer needs to be just above the eggs but i was told a temp of 39.2 ??? is this right for hatc...

I have 4 pens of chickens two pens have the galvanized bucket drinkers, they are both about a year old, but one has gone rusty inside and the other has not. two bags were dated fine the other is bagged by the supplier in brown paper no other details other than that it was chick crumbs. All other chicks looking fine but will keep a close eye on them.

thanks have already started cleaning everything, its weird because they have gone through 3 different bags of feed, all are new but you never know how long the supplier has kept them. I have some multivit tonic so i will give that as it is for chicks as well.

Try the Australorp poultry club GB they have a list of breeders for blacks, blues and whites bantam and large fowl. Also events for shows all over the country and the Isles. If not, Castle Farm have black australorps. Hope this is of help. :)
