Just a point from us ... we've tried using Sarson's pickling vinegar for pickled eggs ... and found it way too strong! Normal-strength malt vinegar is best (I now use the distilled as I don't like the eggs to be discoloured).
Distilled malt vinegar is always on my "must buy" list when we go back to the UK visiting. |
