We have an Australian Sheep Dog next door to us, named Bailey. VERY well behaved. Stays in the yard. Likes to follow the horses around.
What would you like to know? |

thanks knobby ,thats a real help,i've got to get some videos on training as well , some people might have little tricks that work for them and learning from nothing i'm sure there is little tricks that people who work with sheepdogs learn over the years (there was in obedience)

I should imagine that the basics are pretty much the same.
Sit, stay and down all at a distance, as far away as you can get.
Then walk on slowly, so they get nearer to the sheep but don't rush them.
Plus left and right, come bye and whatever the other way is.
I don't think it matters what words you use as long as the dog understands the difference |

| Nonie - ask your mum if she wants a jack russell/ springer spaniel cross with selective hearing to train! I could send a 16 year daughter over to you too! lol! |
