What favourite recipes has everyone got for the leftover Turkey then
I roughly mashed some left over boiled potatoes and mixed with some left over (chopped) brussels and chestnuts. Fried this and had with bacon for breakfast. Yum!
But can I do with all the turkey once we can't face another turkey sandwich? |

Oh well spotted Deb .......
Bascially....
Yes!!
So give me some help out here - 20+ years of being veggie and I'm a bit out of practise (I just used to leave the turkey to the OH until he got fed up with turkey sarnies!) |

For a lot of left over turkey....I usually make up a bunch of mixed veggies that I like (only partially cooked), break up the leftover turkey into bite sized pieces, make up a batch of gravy and then mix it all together.
Whip up some pie crusts, baking the bottom layer first and then fill the crusts with the mixture. Freeze until ready for a quick turkey pot pie for dinner. |
