I have candled my eggs today - the ones that got cold overnight because my husband was watching a movie! There is a good-sized air sac, but no visible starfish! Any thoughts? They are 9 days old.

Your request for the calender was emailed.

DON'T give up on them just yet. My first candling, I had no idea what I was looking for. The little spidery dot is hard to search out sometimes, especially if the shells are thicker or on the dark side.

By the second candling, I would discard any eggs that are completely clear.

Good luck with the hatch!
