| read on here about giving greens as extras. Are these essential, mine have layers pellets in the morning, and mixed corn mid afternoon, they are in a big run. that's got lots of grass, if I give them greens, lettuce/cabbage etc, they look at me as though I'm stupid, and leave it. |

Grass alone is fine. The other stuff is only a treat anyway so if yours won't eat it, don't bother giving it to them.  |

| mine wont eat greens either, but do free range, and get corn or pasta sweet corn etc. |

| Greens are ok if they dont have much or no grass, if they're free ranging in a meadow they don't need extra greens. |
