My young lavendar frizzle pekin cock had some 'sweethearts' (round grass seeds) stuck in his fluff. He's still got a lot of baby fluff on his body compared to his siblings.
Anyway as I gazed out of the window to admire my small flock, there he was, stood still as a statue and the sable poot hen was giving him a good old preen. Picking the seeds off one by one and dropping them. When she'd finished she went to go towards the water hopper and he ran after her, turning and standing infront of her so she could do his other side.
What a poser that bird is! |

Typical male, getting the missus to do something he could easily have done himself. |
