"Dawn" out chicken who lays the first egg of the day produced an egg today that had a little bit of blood on the shell, is this something I should worry about? I've had a quick look and can't see anything obvious.
should I wash the blood off or should I dispose of the egg? |

| A case of 'ouch' & nothing to worry about. Clean the egg and think no more about it. |

Thanks for your replies.
Must admit on checking the egg it is a little bit bigger than previous eggs that "Dawn" has laid.
My daughter named he dawn as she is the first to lay and normally been laid before 7:00. |
