Yippee we pick up our first chickens tomorrow, and I can't wait. Got everything finished for them today including white washing the inside of the hen house which Joe did beautifully. He's signed up to join here to use the Youth section so I have to sign his form and send it off for him tomorrow so he can become activated. Please look out for him, he's called himself Quigle Junior
I told people at church this morning and have a list of customer as long as my arm so I'm wondering if I should be getting 6 instead of 4 now got loads of people at school after eggs too lol.
I start my first out of the house job since having the children tomorrow morning, I'm going to be a support worker in the Neo Natal department at St Helier Hospital in Carshalton, bit nervous but its only part time so wont stop me doing anything else I hope. I did some teaching last year at a local studio but that wasn't really like a job because it was my hobby too. |

Good luck with the job, you'll sail through it all.
I agree, you need 6 hens to supply all those people |

Get six! I started with four, got two more, and now I'm (hopefully) getting some ex-batts.
Good luck with the new job, it's always exciting and nerve-racking!

| They're here, all tucked up in the hen house. We got 2 Isa browns, 2 Sussex Hybrids and to Bovan Nova's they are so lovely and friendly, I've had a cuddle and they are so soft and gorgeous. Will leave them tucked up inside for a few days then take some photo's for you all. |
