Yesterday i double tagged the lambs - for the very first time! I hadn't done it before as a friend usually comes over to do them. Anyway, yesterday i thought - "I can do it" - so, with OH holding them, i gave them their 2nd heptivac and tagged. Only got 4 lambs but it's a start Laughing and i'm really proud of myself .

Yeah, I was really quite worried about it. I thought Baldr was going to hate us for ages afterwards. I think being hesitant is probably worse than going for it.

I remember seeing a herd of calves being castrated in Louisiana - at first I thought it was cruel and horrible - but I think the calves were more bothered when they were separated from their mothers before the procedure than they were after it was done.

Well done! The first time for all procedures is the worst.
