Posted: Fri Jul 04, 2008 12:49 am    Post subject: Growers pellets The growers pellets my 12 week old birds are on is medicated and it says that there is a 5 day withdrawal period. Is this referring to eating the eggs or the birds themselves? There's a lot of growers left and they will probably move in with the big ones in a few weeks so it would be good if I could mix the growers with the layers and feed them all with it to use the growers up, although this would be no good if it affects the eggs. Also, is it OK for the mother to eat the medicated growers? She gets mixed corn and bits of bread etc like the rest but otherwise only has the growers to eat with the young ones. But as you say you should stop when you put the youngsters in with the layers.
