| I have some potatoes which are flowering. The plant's about 18" tall. I thought they'd be behind, because we haven't had much in the way of sun. When are they ready to harvest? |

| depends whether they are earlies , mid season or lates ! you can always dig carefully with a trowel to see if they are worth lifting or just lift one root to see, sun not too important they need rain to swell ! |

| Trouty has had 3 plants growing in the poly tunnel - there are now only 2 - she had some for dinner the other day - and very nice they were too, the ones outside have only just started to show above the soil -so she will have to wait for a few weeks now!! |

They've certainly had plenty of rain to swell!! When this heavy rain stops , I'll do as you suggest Gilly, thanks.
My neighbour was bemoining his last week, but I think he doesn't plant as early as me. They were earlies by the way, and have been in at least 2 months if not longer. |
