I managed to get some Tylan of a supplier who has a license to supply.

It says 2g in 1 litre of water 5 to 7 days.

Does this mean i have to make this fresh every day or leave the same one for hen to drink.

Will add some garlic to her porridge coz shes snezing and has a runny nose.

Yes you have to make fresh water daily and make sure they can't get to any other water. My vet advised that the dose is a quarter of a teaspoon to a litre if that helps measuring it out!

If in doubt ask a vet.

Hi, just picked up some tylan from the vets this morning and it states that you have to replace it every 12 hours, my vet slightly differed in the fact that he stated 1/2 tsp per litre of water, saying that, my hen is quite sick, so it may change with
the severity of each case.
as i only have 2 hens in quarantine i am only giving them 1/2 litre of water with 1/4 tsp it will then go twice as far and i will replace as needed rather than throw any unused water away!
regards,
michelle

I suppose you would replace it after 12 hours anyway - give them fresh water at 7 or 8am and they have gone to bed by 6.30pm so have had access to it for less than 12 hours.
