|
|
| Anyone know where I can get some wedder yearling shetlands processed for myself and family friends. I have phoned a couple places and they are not interested or say that they are to bizzy. Butcher in Shots, Abattoir in St Andrews no joy. Looking for somewhere in central Scotland. |

try your local SAC advise center I know that they should have that infomation, or ask your local butcher which abattoir he would advise but choice a good one.
There should be one closer then dingwall but I'm not certain on that, you could use a search engine but make sure who ever you choose you know how they operate,
I might be right of the mark but if I am just say.

| hi, why dont u try, wishaw abitoir, or locherby (my prefered) Butchering is fairly easy if they are too busy at the moment to process them. |

| The one in Edinburgh is off the Western Approach Rd. I've passed it coming from Saughton onto the Approach Rd (will be on your right fairly near to Tynecastle) heading toward Lothian Road. |

Also found out there is an abbatoir in Linlithgow called Henderson's (only opened Sep 2006).
Looking for contact details for you for any Scottish abbatoir nearby. |

Only mentioned the one in Edinburgh as that is where someone I knew said they had had a goat slaughtered. |
