Ive see it done well on other forums, its fun to.

The idea being that we all think of some awards (such as)...

Best Advice Giver
Most inspirational PK'er
Funniest Pk'er
PK'er who talks about anything BUT poultry!
Best Avatar
Most Annoying Avatar!!!
Most Memerable Post of 2007
Funniest Story of 2007
Best Thread of 2007
Worst Grammer/ Spelling!! Embarassed
etc

When the finialised questions are agreed, these are cut and pasted - with nominations add to each question.

Then on date to be agreed the results are revealed!

How about it then?

we do this on one of the classic car forums we go onto, but we only have one catagory. the winner is given a wooden trophy with shields around the outside, and its given at the annual meet

I was under the impression that the nomination was decided on a voting scheme. i.e. most votes.

What do you think?

Recently on the crafting forum I'm on we had the CRAFTA's..... Each moderator took three categories and votes were cast for a week by PM to the mod in charge of the category, then highest 4 were put forward as nominees and voting again for a week.

We actually had a virtual ceremony/party, one sunday night, complete with red carpet interviews, a champagne fountain, and a LOT of misdemeanours!!!!!!! It was hysterical!

Is that similar to the Golden Rivet on the Submarines in the Navy Laughing

Excellent Idea

Maybe Steph could put the award under the Avator, (sorry Steph I know you have enough to do)
