Picked these this morning in my unheated greenhouse that still has all the windows open.
Not bad for Dec 3rd.

Flavours lovely but skins are a bit tough.
2 years ago I picked 2lb on Boxing Day, hoping to beat that this year.
AND, of course I'm just showing off
Picked raspberries as well but they are pretty tastless |

| I am so jealous - we aren't even going to warm up to freezing tomorrow and our overnight temps drop even lower. I am so ready for spring. |

I must confess, I haven't done anything or worked hard at getting late crops, its just been wet, windy and very mild.
Surprised the greenhouse is still standing after the gales, but everythings stood here for so long it just seems to take it. Famous last words comes to mind |

Right, this really is the end of them. Picked about 6lb over Christmas and new year and these today, and I'm fed up with them now.
So tomorrow I am picking all the green ones for chutney and pulling the plants up That should stop them
What a strange growing year it has been

They look lovely - I wish I still had a greenhouse with glass in........ 15 panes gone out of about 22. I was still picking toms on December 15th.
