Thanks
I think it's all the ants and worms and beetles and greenfly and anything else that happens to poke it's head out of the leaves that is making them so healthy
They wondered over to the pond this morning and were looking at it rather quizically, but by the time I'd got the camera they had got bored and wondered off somewhere else |

Hi Mojo
Thanks for the warning, but they couldn't get into the pond as it is securely netted against Heron attack.
At some point we'll also make a protected run for them so I don't have to stand watching them all the time, but it will have to be a temporary affair I guess |

Lovely George, it's great watching them enjoy the freedom of the garden. I love watching them run and fly |

Too true Nanny
Mine seem to "Face off" quite a lot, especially the Welsummers, don't know if they are just creating a pecking order or what, but it's quite comical the way one will suddenly look away and pretend nothing happened |

Nanny, no need to get your coat right now, they aren't big enough to go in the oven yet! Give them a few more weeks then you're welcome to come for dinner

My one Welsummer is top of the pecking order, so it might be that Wellies just automatically assume that position??????
Well george, you never know and I hate having spoiled your day |
