Okay, adding a few words to see what Google comes up with.

Seems like a swell idea. Back in Wisconsin they had pick your own farms. I miss that.

We used to have and still have in some places Pick Your Own, but that's mainly for strawberries Deb.
A friend of mine has these boxes and she says they're very good. I might order one soon, they seem good value? Smile

I've seen their van around here a few times, but never tried it myself. Maybe I should?

About a mile from me there's a pick your own which has loads of different stuff,
They send out a little map of the farm, saying when each crop will be ready

Never been though

I've just started using this company
www.abel-cole.co.uk
(how do you turn that into a link?)
So far we've had 2 deliveries from them and it's been very efficient and the quality is excellent. It's expensive but I love the philosophy of local, seasonal food, recyclable/reusable packaging and so on. This other company looks to be better value so I will have a closer look.

Legs 11 - thank you so much for posting that link. It lists some woodchip suppliers local to me that I didn't know about. I'll be giving them a ring next week Razz

Thanks again!
