my grape vine growing on a trellis has around 50 bunches of smallish, very sweet grapes on it this year!!!

plus some of my ornamental gourds...........all from 4 plants...............am gonna try edible squashes next year and pumpkins, since they seem to like the copious amounts of hen dung i can put in the soil for them...........the gourds did!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

and my autumn bliss rasps.............what a great variety..had enough to do 30 jars of jam from this row, plus all the ones i eat on the hoof.......and few ive had with ice cream!! Laughing Laughing

i grew them really for a laugh, but was amazed at how well they grew, and the amount and variety of gourds i got............they were like jack and the beanstalk the rate they grew!!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing .....................am drying them off a bit, then will see what i need to do to preserve them, read that you should wax them rather than varnish, but never done them before, so if anyone has, please let me know what to do!!! Very Happy
