One of my broodys who is sitting on 8 eggs seems to have lots of chicks now. How do you look under them?

I have lifted her off once but took a chick with her (it was ok), every part of her I lift gently there seems to be a chick there, Mojo said not to move them when they have chicks...do I have too wait till she gets off maybe today or tomorrow?..Wanna know how many! (and check any duds!)

I just do like you did. Gently pick her up by slidding my hands between her wings and using my fingers to support her underside. Then I move her to a new spot and quickly give her a chick or two. I count the rest, giving them to mum in the process and then check the eggs. If the eggs are still viable, just set them down infront of her breast. She will then cluck at them and put them under her. Wink
