A new pet hate... so called 'horse-experts' who spout nonsense...
Here's a gem I heard today: "You can't put geldings in with mares!" Uh, yes, you can... that's one of the reasons why they get gelded...
Same person came to look to buy my young Paddy - she couldn't get him to do what she wanted and tried to blame the horse. Suz, you know what Y. Paddy is like, not a mulish bone in his body (same cannot be said for Auld Paddy, lol) and if you are clear in your commands, he's so obedient. Needless to say, I didn't sell her my horse! |

| Must not be very long from my observation... this woman only owns a small shetland pony, which she obviously doesn't ride! If this person had said "I'm just learning" that would have been ok, but to pass yourself off as being knowledgable and being arrogant about it, that just takes the biscuit! |
