She's hoping that if she is more friendly, you won't puncture her with any more needles
Well done, she's a lucky sheep to have a mum like you! |

no it is caused by a metabolic disorder ,so it can hit any animal at any time ,normally spring or summer or if to much concentrate is feed i got a e mail from some body else on another forum whose billy goat had gone down the same way but not as badly ,their vet said it was because he had been wormed just before he moved and the grazing was richer i was really greatfull for that info
because the day before i moved her i wormed her ,the grazing was richer ,so it gave answers to what had happened ,hers recovered ,and has fathered 22 kids since ,it's funny with grazing animals how some bugs in the stomach can cause a n imbalance and then kill an animal or turn it's behaviour ,does it ever happen in people to ,peanut has regained the sight in her left eye now as well ,it must be like the biggest headache ever ,the cause of all the trouble is vit b1 :?it looks like swayback |

| Hope the lamby is still doing well Suz! Scary stuff. It's not going to be too long yet before we shift the ones we have to common grazings (apart from Hector, the tup, he stays here) so this is good to know. |

yep ,thank you for asking ,she can go back to the other croft ,there seems to be no lasting damage her eye sight has returned ,she's been drenched and there is now a minerial lick so i hope they are covered ,i do hope that if anybody has sheep or goats on here it might help if they get the same thing ,
ps ting tong now gives paw(foot) if you ask her and sit down on the straw in the lamb shelter and she snuggles into the side of your neck :oops:if you ask her for a snuggle |
