Hiya everybody.

Mrs Paulfrompompey and myself are thinking about moving to somewhere on the Scottish mainland, Don't know where yet 'cos it's still in the early stages of discussion.

Can anybody give me a rough Idea of what we could grow up there, and what we can't..we would like a smallholding of sorts y'see, or at least a piece of land where we can grow our own and keep a bit of livestock.

Also, has anybody any tips and info. about smallholdings on the scottish mainland, good website addresses would help.

I understand that the system for purchasing property up there is very different then down here in southern England, more info. would also be welcome.

Thanking you in anticipation........
