well my sheep are on the new croft ,thanks debs
and thanks kids for putting up with the wait ,
put up electric fencing ,strimmed so that it wouldn't short out ,
we rounded them up on to the trailer ,poor things wondered what the hell was going on ,we dipped them ,dn't think we used the race properly ,most impressive part of the day ,we were worried about reloading them ,threw the red bucket in and said in you go they all jumped in one at a time ,bit of a fluke but the man watching it didn't know that and looked really shocked ,they are all settled on the new croft and grazing happily have to think of a name for it
i'm going to miss them yelling for food in the morning ,and have to move them every week so i'll still spend loads of time there

No problem
didn't even have to clean the trailer out, the OH offered
probably a good job no-one was about when we were dipping them
was trying to describe it to OH, he hasn't got a clue either |

| Well done on today's successful move. I wonder if your sheep will be as well trained the next time you want them in the trailer??? |

well the first time they went in they didn't like it much ,so after they were dipped and had to go back into the trailer i didn't think they would go ,so the red bucket thrown into the back was a bit of a bluff really ,i was really surprized when it worked |

we had a problem with the sheep last night ,a dog chased them and they ran though the electric fencing, they were not hurt thank goodness ,the lady who lives beside where the sheep are grazing said they are not normal
they ran for a couple of secs and turned on the dog ,thelady and children then tried to drive them back in the field they stood and looked at her she said they looked puzzled ,then she and the children tried pushing ,even more puzzled looks
,she said she left them and then remembered the red bucket i'd told her about picked it up and they followed her back into the field ,even though the fence was down they didn't cross it she said i know you said your sheep are strange and i didn't believe you ,today she wanted to know their names |
