Hi,
I just wanted to let everybody know about a new online store that ive found selling amongst other things red mite control products. I bought some decimite from them on Thursday and received it on Friday. I will let you know how I get on.
The site was www.ratbait.co.uk |

I notice the poultry shield they have is the cleaner not the actual poultry shield I normally buy.The decimite works out the same price as poultry shield its a shame they dont do the 5 litre I wouldnt be wanting to shell out £69 and the other one the aerosol version is far too small for my needs. The necromite and mitix magic dragon appears to be diatom.
Hope it works well, anything that is effective against mites has my vote. |

| I have just emailed them about the poultry shield, apparently there is just one version. If you advertise poultry shield as killing red mite it would be classed as an insecticide and would need registration with the HSE. They have told me that Poultry Shield is advertised first and foremost as a cleaner and the red mite part is secondary, this gets around the regulations. |

Explains why the labelling has changed then, shame they have to be so cloak and dagger about it all.Since it contains no poison and non toxic I see no reason why the HSE would want to register it as such.Oh well thats Britain for you. http://www.poultryshield.com/
