Apparently they have a great taste, a tiny bit like lobster, but as it's fresh water not as strong.
In london they are classed as a pest and they have people who spend all their time trying to get rid of them.
The then have to put them into cleaning tanks for a few weeks to get rid of all the toxicines that is in the water, before the can sell them |

| These should be proper crayfish, too, not the signal crayfish that have taken over British rivers. That makes a difference taste wise, also, we're lead to believe. |

You'll have to let us know what it tastes like. Shame it was only 1, 2 would have been better then you could have had 1 each |

| I know. We're going to have to be very careful sharing it without the cat demanding his share. |

Oh of course, why didn't I realise that ?
Ah, probably because I haven't a clue what a Bozita is except it sounds a little bit rude
I see it is his food made with natural Swedish premium ingredients |

Here are the one we caught near Newbury on our friends' canal boat
They look smaller than yours but there were loads of them - we caught this lot in about 45 mins - there were some clinging to the outside of the basket.
What did you use for bait - we were told cat food !!! Perhaps the Bonita would work ? the bait was kept in a little plastic basket type thing he whole trap was made of plastic - it looks more like the second one of yours with two inward facing funnels so they could get in but not back out I guess |
