I have set up my loom for the first time today and done about 6", only 4" wide but done 4 different Patton's, it is quite good, I like it , very rest-full, I shall practice for a few weeks then make something,
just the spinning to get on top of, I can not do it |

Are you on the wrong Island? well done for having a go, my elderly friend who lives in West Wales said it takes a while to learn to spin properly and you get in all sorts of tangles to start with but once you get the knack you wonder what all the fuss was about. Keep trying |

| I've posted a link on the thread previously about spinning for Sheila Roderick in Scalpay: www.scalpaylinen.com As Scalpay is only a few minutes from Tarbert and the ferry from Uig, I'm sure she'd love to show you her stuff! She is also poultry mad too, being addicted to incubators and loves naked necks. |
