Ive never made any of them, sorry Some have white flour, some wholemeal, some buttermilk, some milk and yogurt. If you think any of them will do, let me know. So whatever you can do out of that recipe wise would be great Thankyou xx Back to top Spana Joined: 30 Apr 2005 Posts: 2219 Location: North Cornwall Posted: Tue May 30, 2006 9:44 am    Post subject: Soda Bread Makes 1 loaf 350g-12oz wholemeal flour 100g-4oz white flour 5ml-1tsp salt 5ml-1tsp bicarbobate of soda 50g-2oz butter 225ml-8floz fresh milk 150g-5oz natural yogurt flour to dust butter to serve Mix together flours, salt and bicarb. Rud in butter untill mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add milk and yogurt and mix to a soft dough. Knead lightly Shape into a round and place on a greased baking sheet. Score bread with a deep cross and dust with flour. Bake at 220c-425f -mark 7 for 50mins. When cool slice and serve with butter. [and in big print] THIS BREAD IS BEST EATEN ON DAY IT IS MADE Ive just noticed that at the top of the recipe it says cooking time 35mins, but in the recipe it says 50 mins Had a look at the others and they're all cooked for about 30-35 mins.
