Totally agree - we met them at Salisbury auctions in February!
Really lovely though! |

I heard all about Salisbury - didn't they bring a Poland cockerel along for the ride?!
We're now the proud owners of two new birds - a D'Uccle from Carrie, now called Parker (cos she's a nosey... ), and the gorgeous blue baby Pekin who is so lovely and cute and fluffy she just HAD to be called Satan
You can tell I've read 'Hen and the Art...', can't you?
Ohhhhh, and not forgetting the six D'Uccle eggs from Carrie that I'm going to pop under my broody bantam this evening - how exciting! |

Mad as spiders, then?
I can't believe you two went out, after that journey! Mind you, me and Lisa sat in front of Eurovision with several bottles of Vino Collapso and ended up singing along with the subtitles
Birdies are settling in - there's a fair bit of squabbling going on, but the new girls can run faster than the oldies, so they're managing ok |

Dont they look just fantastic
It seems Satan is doing as I promised J she would do, she will take to him really really quickly, its so lovely to see children who know how to treat animals, you have very obviously done a fantastic job with him, he is such a lovely little boy and WOW is he willing to learn, I hope our little cockerel talk helped ? I thought I would add in about my little girl as that sometimes helps children understand
Nellie
PS you cant take enough pictures of the girls |
