that's easy ,they don't have the bus fare to your house ,last year at a little show we ran out of ginger biscuits and each child 3 at a time was allowed in to groom them ,i had sparkling goats by the end of the day

I have to tell you - sorry about this, I used to take parties of schoolchildren round at my local ag coll when it was lambing time, they all as one held their noses as they got of the bus and complained about the smell, and the thing that fascinated them most was . . . when one pooed, hopefully your island children will not be as bad as this - these were mostly city children but the farmyard didn't smell and they very rarely asked any questions and if they did it wasn't what you expected! |

a lot of the island children haven't got a clue either that's why it's being organized ,the lady who is doing it said a lot of the teachers are as bad ,
i wanted the questions for a board so i could write it and put pics up ,more for the teachers and i'm going to need it again for the point show .when i did the point show the kids just wanted to know their names and could they give them another ginger biscuit
kids love it when things poo and wee
i took loads of kids to a roman palace at chichester the thing they loved most was the skelington
deb was saying that she had a child there the other day who had never stroked a lamb before ,and we're in sheep country
i love doing this sort of thing

had a great time thanks ,
goats did great job weeing and pooing there where 25 talks
short ones
with the children being shown that goats do not have top teath how their feet where in 2 parts holi was great
500 children have now seen a goat milked
funnest thing of the day was nonie did a couple of talks and asked where the udders where the childen decieded betwen them and pionted at the horns ,holi did her usual i'm going to beat up suki act and the kids thought she was very impressive standing on her back legs
only one child held their nose ,
i was telling them that goat don't mind grass but prefure browzing and said they really like that stuff that grows on the moor
asked what it was gave them the hint it flowers purple and turns the moors purple ,what is it
1 guess lavinder ,most didn't know i think it shocked the teachers as well as me but if they go away today knowing there's heather on the moor and milk comes out of a goat or cow warm it's been a day well spent |

suz, it seems to me you've done a really good job there. You and Nonie should be proud of your selves. Perhaps the start of a whole new career
Well done the pair of you. |
