Ah, that's all to do with Cytochrome P450 2D6. 8% of the population suffer from this condition, and the same 8% will get no medicinal benefit from codeine. |

Wow, that is fascinating. I get lots of benefits from codeine and love beetroot. I will look when I widdle after eating it next time.Normally I don't bother lol.  |
