One of the most stunning and impressive breeds around and also wonderfully docile and superb for children's pets.
I've had them since the 1980's. |

Taken in January this year of the young (about 6 months old) blue cockerel which I kept.
He has improved and got wider since this was taken.

Oh I give in.
Here are some more.
My prize winning partridge cochin hen.
Blanco, my white cockerel
A very young baby 'Errol' the cuckoo cochin
His wife, 'Angelina ballerina'
My beautiful bruiser of a buff cochin, my 'Fudge' aka Fudgey boy
And last but not least, my 'Titan' the father to blanco and blue boy.
Titan and his sons all live together with a collection of black, blue, white, and splash ladies.

| And this year I am experimenting. I have put a spare blue cochin female in with the partridge trio in order to produce blue partridge. I love the colour so much in my Dutch bantams that I would like to produce it in the cochins too. |

| Lovely birds Wilt. How did you get the black with speckled white feathering on the cochins? Was it just a black x white cross? They are very attractive, almost jubilee- like. |
