This is a real long shot - does anyone have any rhodebars? Pictures would be brilliant too. I'm after hatching eggs really but these are so rare (POSSIBLY) down to just one breeder, I just thought I'd ask first to establish if anything's out there!

Thanks

Brussbars are one of the autosexing breeds, like legbars, rhodebars, wybars, welbars and the extinct (as far as i know) cambar.

They're very productive things made from putting brown sussex with legbars and other autosexers and there's some light sussex in there too, to increase productivity. I've been told they're down to one breeder which is a shame because they're so productive, and that's as much as I know!!!

(just in case someone's reading and wondering, autsexing breeds are the ones that hatch boys and girls of different colours so you can tell from day one which are which.)

My filing system works! try http://atschool.eduweb.co.uk/warrinerschool and if that fails, google Warriner School. They breed rhodebars

Cambars are not extinct ~ there is are a couple of ladies that I know breediong them at this point in time. But the last I heard not willing, as yet, to part with them until there are sufficient numbers of them in their purest form.
I passed your details onto someone who breeds Rhodebars, I believe she may have emailed you
