I brought something back with me other than prize cards and rosettes.
Mycoplasma Mad
The Dutch bantam cockerel has a snotty beak, chesty breathing and nasty smell. He is now on a course of antibiotic.
I have decided not to show anymore. I will not put my birds at risk from unscrupulous people who are so desperate for a bit of coloured cardboard that they enter unwell birds.

Oh, what a shame, Fenwoman - hope he perks up quickly. Maybe I'll stick to showing eggs after all...

I'm so sorry to hear that Fenwoman, especially after all the care you take of all your birds and animals.
I hope he soon makes a full recovery

Proves my point about showing. You can't do it without bringing something back. Showed at the East of England Autumn show and brought back the same thing. All the pekins were ill from it on the row at the show.
