They were on about AI being in Africa and that the country is too poor to do much about it. Also that it will get here by autumn and whether we should vaccinate or not. At 5.45 am, and just awake it all sounded very depressing.

You go mojo. Show them Frenchies that us Brits know how to obey the rules. You can bet there would be mutterings and the full force of the law brought to bear against Zee Ingleesh if you copied the rest of them and simply didn't bother.

Bloody hell Mojo, how frustrating - you can bet they'll be the first to cry foul when their birds catch AI and have to be culled Evil or Very Mad

Or even fowl, hehe! Laughing

Seriously though, it's very worrying that they are not complying with the law over there, isn't it? As you say Fenn, they will be outraged if they have to cull, but will have only themselves to blame.
At least Mojo & the other French based members on here are doing their bit as will all of us if we have to in the future.

What worries me most is that supposing a farm down the road from Mojo gets the avian flu. Will Mojo's hens then be culled as well because they are within the perimeter marking or will they just be watched and tested for signs of flu?

Mojo,

where did you hear that delightful piece of news, its been very quiet down here.

I did notice that some chooks that have been kept under netting (and visible from the road) have suddenly disappeared.

i suppose the planned escape for this PM better be put back on hold....

Ciao,
Andy
