oooh!!! i saw an ad in the local rag for a trio plus ark for £40 and couldnt resist - got them yesterday and they are BEAUTIFUL!! i have already got 2 white stars (pretty but terribly flighty), 2 neras (stunning and much tamer) and 7 ex-batts who almost all look pretty shabby still.

so to get 3 blue-laced golden Wyandotte bantams - including a lovely cock bird - was a real treat! his crow is thankfully not terribly loud and sounds like he is running out of batteries! Laughing

apparently he does the necessary, so now i suppose we will just wait for nature to take its course.... Very Happy

Jealous jealous JEALOUS!!! Laughing

Like I said, I shall be investigating carriage costs for when you've got some of his offspring to unload... Very Happy

I've only seen blue-laced golds in pics, never in real life - they're beautiful Smile

LOL. That flipping book. A couple of months ago a bloke phoned and asked if I had any black laced silver wyandottes. I can remember having seen them named this in that book. I told him that he meant silver laced wyandottes and yes I did keep them. He then got quite shirty and said that he had seen in his book that they were called black laced silvers and since it was a book, IT must be correct and I obviously was either wrong, or didn't have what he was looking for and was trying to sell him something else (shrug).
What you in fact have is blue laced wyandottes Smile
