What about Garlic - Does anyone give them this? (Crushed in food for example?) We give it to the dog and it keeps her skin from erupting.

Yes, many people feed garlic to their animals. Either crushed in their food, or as powder. Or a fresh, crushed clove in their water. There have been several threads that mention it - here's a couple:

using garlic powder to reduce the smell of bird poop

using garlic as a natural wormer and discussion about the safety of feeding it to dogs

Re Sweetcorn - yep, I understand its better growing it in a group, as its wind pollinated so if they're close together there's a better chance of getting more corn.

Hey Mojo - glad to hear its gardening weather over there Wink

OK thanks for the links (again!) Lisa..

OK there is a reason why it's better to grow corn in a group then!

The chooks are currently enjoying Swiss Chard but I'm going to have to rotivate shortly and plant out my Onions so they will have to wait a little for some more...

Still spring is coming (this weekend to be exact!) I can feel it is only around the corner... Mojo has sent us some warmer weather!
