As far as I know they have done loads of testing but never sealed anywhere off before now Confused

They are saying 100 birds from a flock of 300 are dead, Results of testing may be back tonight. Bit too close for comfort!

Denmark has confirmed it's first case of H5N1 this week. They are saying though they have investigated 39 other suspected outbreaks in the Uk, all of which returned a negative result for avian flu. Keep your fingers crossed guys!

OK - we can breathe again!

Preliminary tests taken after dozens of dead chickens were discovered on a farm in Orkney have proved negative for bird flu, it has been confirmed.

does anyone know what killed the birds yet i know that the people who owned the place were still not leaving it as the test results were not back but they said they'd be back sat ,

...that's because they have no scare stories to print! All that seems to be coming out at present is sensible wel-thought out reports, like the ones Nigel has been putting up.
Although it could be the lull before the storm.
