According to the Sky News website, Poland has confirmed it's first cases of bird flu. It was found in two swans. However it has not confirmed whether it is H5N1, but has said it is H5.

Mind you, unless my geography is as bad as my maths, the cases seem to be going away from the UK rather than nearer - perhaps a hint of better news?? Confused

True, but don't forget there have been more cases in France and IF we believe some of the tabloids, it is now as close as Boulogne and that is only 21 miles away. Confused
