Cor, thanks and yes I am proud, although i really didn't do much did I, she's the one who sat there, day after day like a good broody. She was quite protective of them and chased McQueen away (botoom of the pecking order) and interestingly, didn't chase Rosie away. Pingu, the black Orp is more adventurous than the others, maybe a roo. We let them out again just now, and I put their feeder out to distract the other birds. Pingu decided to join them and they were scared Laughing Not sure whether to chance eating or not incase IT got them!!
The Pekins seem more timid and have to be coaxed out of the Ark, maybe because they are smaller?
Not sure how often I can manage the anxiety of them being out, but will attempt short adventures each day Wink

I *think* the splash ones were light coloured with dark 'bits ' though I don't know much

Will you keep Pingu if he is a Roo ?

You couldn't eat him Shocked I meant to sell / give away - if you keep him though (if he is a he) you will have lots of cute chicks - but what would you do with those

I think if I were in that situation I'd want to keep them all - far too soppy on such things !
