I've started building my second coop for the pair of polish frizzles. i think Ive spent about 14 to 16 hrs on it up to yet and about £100 this is what I've done up to yet. [img]http://gallery.thepoultrykeeper.co.uk/d/5875-1/Image013.jpg[img] [/img]http://gallery.thepoultrykeeper.co.uk/d/5879-1/Image017.jpg just working out the roof and doors i did the odd drawing but nothing to plan.

That looks excellent, well done ~ we'll know where to come if we want one building !
Please tell me what do they call that type of wood ~ 'wood' is not the right word ~ it looks like tongue and groove but it isn't really ~ what is it called?

hi milkmaid
you can use what you want off the pics hopefully here are some more

at the front of the coop i did the roof so it could come off so we could get in. the small door under will have a cross frame like the large one. do you think it would to much with a chimney on as well. my wife as all ready said that she is a coop widow Laughing

If it's going to have a chimney, then there ought to be curtain as well.

well the coop is finished the birds love it the bad news is that the roof leaked so i ended up putting a coroline roof on it but it still does not look to bad. here is a pic before the coroline.

I'm so sorry the roof leaked ~ do you know why that happened? I have a house built of that type of t&g and no problems. I didn't know what it was called when I built my own and got ordinary t&g and that did leak. I thought that type wouldn't because of the long step down to the next layer.
On the upside Corruline is supposed to be better anyway because of the red mites that can arrive in summer.
