Good morning Bird Babe, congratulations on your asparagus. I planted mine two years ago and had a small harvest last year. This year I'm hoping for big things but so far no shoots appearing

Good news BB!
Mandy...mine are not sending up shoots yet either. Guess we are both going to be playing the wait and see game. |

How easy is asparagus to grow? It looked a rather long and slightly complicated process to me in my veggie books and said you couldn't move it once established Is that right. I've not tried it, but wouldn't mind giving it a go... |

Lisa, we did move ours, very carefully about 3 years ago. When it gets moved you basically start over from scratch getting the crop to fill in. But, the work and wait is worth it. |
